As part of the ongoing implementation of the Comprehensive Framework Agreement (GFA), IndustriALL Global Union and H-M met to establish a National Monitoring Committee (NMC) in India. Sodexo, a French food service and establishment company employing 425,000 people, participated with IUF in the development of measures to combat sexual harassment. In 2018, an annex was adopted in the form of a joint commitment, attached to the existing comprehensive framework agreement, which imposes a zero tolerance for sexual harassment on the company. The joint undertaking states that sexual harassment is an offence that could result in disciplinary action, including the dismissal of the company, and that Sodexo will train all employees in this policy and its responsibilities. It also contains a clause prohibiting sexual harassment in Sodexo`s suppliers` code of conduct and requiring the company to inform its subcontractors and suppliers of the directive and to use its influence to resolve cases of sexual harassment that may arise in the course of its dealings with subcontractors/suppliers. IndustriALL Global Union has renewed and strengthened its Global Framework Agreement (GFA) with Siemens Gamesa, the world leader in wind turbine production. The German automaker systematically refusing to grant the same rights to its employees in Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA, as in the rest of the world, IndustriALL Global Union today suspends its long-standing global agreement with Volkswagen. The Global Framework Agreement also covers the rights of trade unions and underlines our commitment to ensuring a positive working environment with the right to freedom of association, as well as a healthy balance of work and private life, in line with the joint declarations previously signed with the UEWC. More than 80 trade union leaders from Turkey, Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Mauritius and Morocco met in Cesme, Turkey, to see how Global Framework Agreements (GFAs) can be better used to promote trade union organization, collective agreements and social dialogue.

More than 100 suppliers of H-M, which employ hundreds of thousands of workers, participated in joint workshops organized by IndustriALL and the Swedish clothing company H-M to discuss the Global Framework Agreement (GFA) and its implementation. IndustriALL has also entered into global agreements with multinationals that cover specific key issues in all sectors of these companies. These include our global health and safety agreement with ArcelorMittal and our global sexual harassment agreement with Unilever. Following the signing in January 2018 of the Comprehensive Framework Agreement (GMC) between Finnish multinational Stora Enso, the global endices unions IndustriALL, IBB and UNI, the social partners held the first biennial meeting of the Implementation and Review Committee in Helsinki on 3 June. The agreement was made possible by the basis laid down by the European members of UNI Finance and by the strong tradition of social dialogue within the Bank. The Bank has already concluded three European agreements, which are part of its European Social Charter, covering the main themes of employment, gender equality and stress prevention.
